Institute of Nuclear Materials Management
Vienna Chapter

The Vienna Chapter of INMM is once again organizing a Science and Engineering Fair for international high schools in Austria. The aim is to promote science and engineering subjects in schools and encourage the younger generation to pursue careers in different scientific and engineering fields. The science and engineering fair is scheduled to take place on 25 March 2017 in the Lycée Français de Vienne, Liechtensteinstraße 37a, 1090 Vienna, Austria. Each participating student will receive a certificate while several gift awards will be given to projects judged to be exceptional in each of entry categories. Highly qualified judges will be recruited from a wide area of scientific fields and appropriately assigned to the different projects.

Instructions for registering, as well as requirements and the rules of participation are all spelt out in the links below. These include projects divisions and categories, reporting, display set up and disassembly, display size, use of electrical power, safety precautions and special restrictions. It is important for participants to strictly abide by these rules and ensure that the requirements are fulfilled. Attention should also be paid to the deadlines as stated in the documents.

We look forward to a successful science and engineering fair that will elicit the best ideas that could propel the advancement of science engineering in the next generation. Your participation and support will help in realising this goal.
